Windjammer Cove and Marina is the oldest continuous operating marina in Northern Michigan dating back to the time the first boathouse was constructed in 1904.
A new marina facility, whose timeless style perfectly complements nearby cottages, offers a ship’s store, navigational charts, full watercraft service, and all the accoutrements a boater may need.
The Little Traverse Bay area is filled with attractions that provide year-round enjoyment. Big water sailing, world class yachting, inland-water boating and water sports, golf, dining, shopping at boutiques and galleries, biking, heading to Mackinac Island and Straits area events, snow skiing, snowmobiling, or just taking in the incredible sunsets and beaches. It’s all right here for you.
TAKE YOUR BOAT DOWN MICHIGAN’S INLAND WATER ROUTE:
Crooked Lake is part of the Inland Water Route in Michigan. Every day we can boat in a different area that has a flavor all it’s own. Connected by rivers to other lakes, we can journey all the way to Lake Huron from our boat house or trailer our boat a short distance to Harbor Springs, Michigan to put in at Little Traverse Bay and travel the shore lines of Lake Michigan, stopping in Charlevoix, Traverse City, Suttons Bay or Leland, Michigan, to name a few.
Houseboats, pontoon boats, jet skis, runabouts…we have many types of boats for you to enjoy!
Depending on our journey, we sometimes boat through traditional draw bridges, locks and unique swinging bridges - all of which are still operated by people whose families have lived on these unique waterways for generations.

We had a great time on one of your houseboats last summer and we just booked another trip for 2009! The truth is that we took so many pictures on our trip that we filled up our digital camera and ran out of room on the 3rd day of our vacation. Friendly, professional service from people who really care about your happiness. My wife was a bit skeptical about taking a houseboat vacation but after actually do it, she is a huge fan! They also have condos that might have an interest for some folks…who knows, maybe even us sometime in the future. Highly recommended for sure!!
