The Stewart Family After spending a blissful 2 weeks in the South Pacific, visiting Tahiti and Moorea, Craig and Evelyn Stewart returned to landlocked Oklahoma…still dreaming of the islands.

Six years later, after a lot of reading and searching, Craig discovered Sanibel Island. Wow, what a wonderful island! Beautiful Gulf of Mexico waters, exotic birds, alligators, sea grape leaves as big as your hand, seashells in mounds on sandy beaches, dolphins along the shore, and so very much more. “Eureka!”

 Miss ParadiseIn 1986, Adventures in Paradise was born, (alongside three sons, a dog and parrot)! The first boat, “Miss Paradise”, was built and the dream began by taking guests on Sunset Dolphin Cruises, (which still rival any in the world)!

Two more power catamarans, “Dolphin Waters” and “Sun Princess”, were added to the fleet after joining the Port Sanibel Marina family. Our marina Ship Store offers fun shirts and gifts to take your bit of paradise back home.

“Outfitters to the Outsiders”In addition to our Port Sanibel location, we recently opened our new store on Sanibel Island, Adventures In Paradise “Outfitters to the Outsiders” on Periwinkle Way at the Tahitian Gardens shopping center. The store, a unique mix of upscale casual clothing, accoutrements & technical gear for men and women, features ORVIS, PATAGONIA and many more.

Over the years we have listened to our guests, watched families grow, and are very thankful that we have had the opportunity to make our guests happy by doing what we love.

Our family’s goal is to bring our love for the nature & waters of this area to you in hopes that when you leave you will be better educated to nature, have had a lot of fun and when you leave you are relaxed and, “dreaming of the islands”!
